y'know, i see no reason at all whatsoever to be hostile towards mahou-x. yes, they're scans are crappy, translations are poor, and some names are inconsistent in mx0.

plus, its not like ossu is dropping the project just cuz theres another group doing it. and its not like ossu has the rights written down in black and white that mx0 is their stuff alone.

my point? if anyone has a problem with a group, scanlating something another group is doing is a very poor reason to feel so. i'd ignore them just as any of you would, but they still have the rights to whatever they wanna scanlate, though either them or ossu are most likely aren't seen by the mangaka in a better light, due to these rights (legality of scans and all that usual stuff...)

if you're going to steal a project at least do a decent a job on it. what community service are you talking about? they're releasing more garbage on the intarwebs. and for the record the projects they were stealing had only one group working on it and we're doing fine with it.

please use commas and other forms of punctuation besides just periods and question marks. On forums I have the grammar of a 3rd grader, but I do try to make it decipherable. Also, the point i was trying to make is, who really cares? So they're doing crappy scans, just dont read them. Don't need to bitch about them. Gah... And, what does that prove? So you are a scanlator then you should know that you are doing it for the love of the series and not for fortune and wealth. They just want to support the series they like and allow other fans to enjoy the series as well. Even great people need to start some where. I'm sure that if you look back at your old works you'll realize that you made mistakes too. Just give them time if the improve, great. If not who cares.

Yeah get what you mean funk but I think this topic was a bit misleading it should have said, Do you think what mahou x is doing is wrong? rather than mahou x sucks whos with me. Would have changed this completely

Dude its not like the group currently scantillating has to stop cause Mahou picks up a title they working on. And yes they are doing a friggin community service no matter how you slice it. I mean I typically could care less about looks but seriously people Mahou DOES put effort into their releases, even if they are just quickly put together for fast releases. Personally I'm not really for or against Mahou-x sometimes they are nice sometimes there a pain, but dont undersell them so much, remember the very fact we ask for ay releases of any manga is asking a damn lot. First you want someone in Japan to scan the original manga (typically very quickly) and submit it to somebody who has agreed to translate it, and someone who will do cleaning and change the text (typically wanting them to do their job quickly and well, for free of course). Then we want these people to distribute their work, for free, over the internet. Oh ya did I forget to mention you expect the company that the original manga is licensed under to turn a blind eye to all of this. Your lying to yourself if you think these businesses couldn't stop a very large fraction of all the online manga you read from
