This, times a thousand. It suits the general mood of Mushishi down to the ground. The EDs are some of the greatest as well, considering each episode has a completely new ED everytime.

Speed Grapher second opening with original audio (Girls on Film by Duran Duran). Excellent matching, beautiful, appropriate visuals, and a song that leads in to the whole theme. Wonderful.

I love the music from the show, but the OST track used in the American release just doesn't match the visuals. At all. So sad. I ended up buying the entire JP release (which came with the soundtracks, yay) just to avoid the terrible hash they made of the US opening.

Ooh, so hard to pick! Let's see...

1. Sakura Kiss - Ouran High School Host Club opening (I feel the need to dance around waving my arms wildly whenever this plays)
2. Hare Hare Yukai - ending theme from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (I can almost do the dance =P)
3. Wake Up Angel - opening theme from Pita Ten (I didn't like the actual anime that much, but I fell in love with this song)
4. Ready Steady Go - opening theme from Fullmetal Alchemist, the second one (I love basically all FMA's opening themes, but this one is my favorite)
5. Shining Days - opening theme for Mai-HIME (this is actually on my iPod!)

And just because they're awesome, a few honorable mentions go out to D-technolife (the second opening theme of Bleach), White Destiny (opening theme of Pretear), Rocks (first opening theme for Naruto), Sakura Saku (opening theme from Love Hina), and Catch You Catch Me (first opening theme from Card Captor Sakura)

Yotaka no Yume (夜鷹の夢) aka Dream of the Nighthawk by Do As Infinity

It's one of the few songs that I knew before I heard it in an OP; actually I found the anime because of the OP. I remember it from their album "Need Your Love" which I listened to after Rakuen (one of the Inuyasha OPs 🤢 ) It was (is still) my favourite of their songs.
