That's because the scanlators like to restart the chapter count with every new volume... so, the red number will always represent the largest chapter number released. The only way to permanently fix this is to change how the chapters themselves are released so that this series is updated like every other one.

Thanks Toto, how about a FAQ around the first post?
How about local solutions like combining volume-chapter under the chapter category?
Ever hear the Perpetuum Jazzile version of Africa by Toto? 🙂

Until death overtakes him, he’ll never give up.

I think the sequel Shin Koneko no Gakushuuchou should be seperated into its own series.
It just doesn't look right in the lists page because of how it is chaptered.
Edit: Now it shows that chapter 7 is the latest release.

You shouldn't be surprised. Lots of series have restarted chapter numbers for new volumes

Goshimei desu! and Goshimeidesu are the same series (please keep the first one).
I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

I am having trouble adding (any) series to my lists. So if I open the series page and I click on add to reading/wish/complete list, it doesn't work anymore for me. This is already the case for a few days and I have tried it with several mangas.
It is still possible to add them if I open "My List" and add the series by typing them.
I am using Google Chrome for two months now, but I didn't have any problems up till now. The feature works in Firefox, but I prefer to use Chrome. I have closed and opened chrome several times and I have tried to refresh the cache. Javascript is enabled for all websites.
Sorry if somebody already posted this bug, but I couldn't find it. I am a very frequent user of this feature, so I hope you can help me!
Thanks

It has to be something on your side, as none of the code has changed in a while

You apparently tried everything already. You perhaps wanna try reinstalling Chrome?

If clearing cache and enable javascript didn't work, try clearing the cookies. I had the same problem (but using Opera) before and that did the trick.

In chrome there is something called the javascript console and it says:
Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=18258 from frame with URL http://www3.game-advertising-online.com/index.php?section=serve&id=1339. Domains, protocols and ports must match.
