Thats basically how I see it. Oh, and bishounen=robot alien programmed to attract females for alien research. The aliens already pretty much have males figured out...

This poll needs more choices.

What if I hate metrosexuals and like tomboys?

BTW, I really really really hate the metrosexual movement. I don't have anything about homosexuals, I respect them, my best friend is one, but metros.....I can't stand them...

Are they gay or straight? Why can't they make a choice?

And the fashion threads are going along the metrosexual culture. WTF? Do they really expect me to wear a pink shirt with flowers on it? In their dreams!!

Manliness have been decaying in these times, that's why I support Chuck Norris, he is an icon of manliness.

In the other hand, I like tomboys, I feel that tomboyish girls are more real, speak their mind more often and use less make up (if any).

And I don't like make up, that's cheating, it's like if the girl was wearing a mask of a pretty lady when you really don't know what is behind it....and you could get a really scary surprise.... 😛

And this is my post 666 😲

I would like to fix this number in my post count....but I don't this it's possible...

I don't think metrosexual = sexual orientation issues. They have their own preferences in clothes hygiene, just like you. Fashion is an interest, just like manga. It's just different from your preferences.
People have different reasons for using make up, but your'e right, they're probably wearing it to look better. But it's like wearing a black shirt because black is more slimming than white. Would that be cheating as well?

My brother is a metrosexual and he's probably one of the straightest people I know. But he's got more products in our bathroom than I do. shrugs It's a running joke in our family, that he should've been the girl and I should've been the boy.

Uh no... my tomboy friend has a boyfriend TYVM and I know a lot of metros who score with hot chicks, more so because they are in tune with high fashion and whatnot.

Whatever... I'll stop tryin to argue my point. It will probably get this thread locked. anyway I'd say being metro would be fun. I'd like to have a very nice fashion sense, just wouldnt act very feminine.

Nah, at least not 100%. I have no lesbian tendencies whatsoever & I'd consider myself a "girly tomboy", I guess - as kids my sister & I used to put on pretty dresses and then go climb trees & play in the dirt. 🤣 Now, a lot of the "girly" stuff seems so superficial; I'm just not interested in focusing that much time & energy on outward appearance. I'll dress up for special occasions but that's about it.

I don't have any strong feelings about metrosexuals, other than "we'd probably have few/no common interests".

I've gotta agree with this, normally I'd help you out...but no.
just...no.
not this time, seeing as how that was a very ignorant thing to say.
and thats one of the only things i cant stand.

i belive that alot of the time, its just how they express themselves, or how they want to dress/act, for being more comfortable and being who they really are, being a tomboy does NOT mean you are a les in the closet.
and being metro just means you are more in touch with your fashion sense and such.
imo..

are we talking about hardcore tomboy that is a tomboy because she looks so much like a he, or tomboy like she looks like a girl but acts like one of the guys. The latter choice is very popular since these girls know what guys want. In fact, some girls pretend to be tomboys (i know of one personally).

As for metro, i wouldn't mind looking metro, but i couldn't act it. They look good but act gay and weak, hate it. If you act gay all the time, you might as well be gay....

Hey, thats just how I've seen it work out. My views will probly change later, but for now, I'm goin' with what I've experienced, which I know isnt much. But most of you guys are still pretty young, and your views will change later in life too. Right now we're all just stating our opinions based on our own experiences and knowledge, and most of us have only experienced about a quarter or less of our life span.

We're talking about tomboys not bull dykes named Butch. I don't think there's a huge difference between one tomboy and another. I don't mind if guys act gay and are straight. I really dont understand how people can hate or judge others seriously (I'm quite fond of racist and sexist jokes) by their personalty or lifestyle.

What the heck does "acting gay" mean anyway? And most metro guys I know work out anyway.

I agree. I don't understand people who make pre-misconception based on their looks or lifestyles.

Don't make assumptions about other's experiences in life based on your own. I have more life experience than some people twice my age, so can it.
