So, I'm pretty sure this one's shounen-ai....or maybe soft yaoi-- nothing too explicit. >__>

It's the first story in a compiled volume of stories(?), and it's about this guy who makes....plates.... and a chef.... or someone who has something to do with restaurants. I remember the person who made the plates never put his signature on any of his works, and the chef always really loved the guy's work and bought a lot of them to use in his restaurant. I think the story started out at the party for the grand opening of the new restaurant, and that's where the two met.... uh.... they become friends or something.... later, there's a scene where the chef person is back in the store where he bought the plates the guy made, and he and the store clerk are talking, and that's when he finds out that the person made the plates. Lol, in any case, everything in the story seems to revolve around plates in my memories. xD
