Unique/Extreme sports.
Yeah.....that's right I'm going to start a thread, don't worry it'll be sweet. Like a trip to the malt shoppe. 😉
So anyways I'm just curious, who in the MU neighborhood has done any kind of solo/unique/extreme sport. It can range from cliff diving to Frisbee tournaments.....Pokemon tournaments don't count (even though they were as hardcore as grade 4 can get).
I used to skate as a little guy, since age 9 or so. The way I can describe it is what I lacked in skill I made up for in heart......heh. 😛 I longboard now, link for those who don't know what it's really like. I'm not great, but I aspire to get better.
So what about you guys. It could even be something that you've always wanted to do but never had the courage/opportunity to (I've always wanted to go on a mountain trek/climb).

I've gone rock climbing, white water kayaking and rafting, I used to surf some as well, but it's the NC coast, nothing real substantial builds up.
I too have been skating since I was really young, it must have been since 3rd or 4th grade, since my brother taught me. To be honest, longboarding will always be twice as better as surfing to me. But even so, I haven't skated much lately--I took the trucks off my skateboard to sand and repaint it a few weeks ago, and they haven't gone back on yet. :'D

The only extreme sports that I have done are skydiving and rafting. Fun, but expensive. They are fun once in a while, but i'll stick with more traditional sports in my daily life (tennis, bball, soccer, sprinting, etc).

Modern dance. Weirdest and most difficult thing you can do with your body.
(I've done all sorts of [crazy/difficult] things: mountain biking, rock climbing, hardcore skiing, martial arts, kayaking... and ballet.)

I used to love longboards; I stopped after injuring my knee snowboarding 🤢
