Got it. I beat mgs 1, mgs 2, and i'm on number 3 at the moment. Who else here has it and where are you guys at? On a similar note, i have a 60gig ps3, the model that still has the ps2 and ps1 compatibility, and i must admit it's as if my ps3 is MADE to play MGS:EC.
I've beaten mgs1 and mgs2 plenty of times, but this is my second time playing mgs3 (didn't beat it the first time). What do you guys think about the three games, and what's your favorite? From what i played in number 3, i still prefer MGS 1. I'm a Meryl fan <3

Havent played 1 but I've played 2 & 3. The only part I hated about 3 was the long ladder that you had to climb while listening to the Snake Eater song 2 times before you get to the top. Other than that, it was the better of the two. I was disapointed that in the original MGS 2 (not MGS 2 Substance) you could only play as snake for a limited time so I'd have to day it's the worst of the three games on PS2.

I bought it but more as an investment, in the hopes it's value goes up (I bought it for $20 shipped). I finished MGS1 during the days of PSX, and played a dozen or so hours of MGS2 but never finished it, and never got to playing MGS3 because I gave up on console games for awhile. I did buy MGS3: Subsistence a while back so I might just sell the first disc and keep the second disc for being a collector's thing.
I don't have fond memories of MGS2 but I do have fond memories for MGS1. I'm thinking I want to play MGS3 because I hear it's great but I have plenty of other games to play too. We'll see.

Bought this a while back and I think I'm enjoying 2 better than 1 at the moment.
Hate moving with the ps2 directional pad, so I'm still stuck trying to get inside this place...I know, I suck at sneaking around.
2 is rather funny as the whole relationship problem between Raiden and Rose, I'm playing right now for their conversation rather than the mission 😛 .

If you hated MGS2 or didn't really understand it, then your missing the ultimate reason why it was a masterpiece I played it and loved it till the end, and reading this link will probably make you enjoy it much better. http://www.deltaheadtranslation.com/MGS2/DOTM_TOC.htm
Other then that, i've beaten MGS1, MGS2, and MGS3, I don't own a ps3 so i'm not sure how i would go about playing #4, only can hope one day it ports to 360 or my friend gets it.
