First of all, I'm not looking for a manga like Skip Beat, where the heroine, after she's dumped by her bf, moves on and finds a new love interest.

I need something like this:

MC gets dumped by their bf/gf, and swears they'd pay that back times two. So (timeskip works for me ) MC comes back after improving herself (makeover, etc.) during the time that the ex is dumped by another girl/boy. MC plans to make the ex fall for them again, they get back together, and in the end MC reveals that she's not really in love with the ex and dumps him.

Preferably girl mc.
Preferably happy ending, where the mc realizes that they're still in love with the ex.

Is there a manga like that? Sorry for the bad grammar. 😃

The artstyle should be pleasing to the eyes. Sorry but I'm soooo picky picky picky.
Also, I'd prefer it if the manga starts at the dumping part, then the timeskip.
And please, no whiny girls. Like "OMG, I still like/love him after all he's done to me." then gives up the revenge plan.

One manga that comes to mind is "Silver" by FUJITA Kazuko, in which the main character gets a makeover and tries to seduce her ex to get revenge, though the rest of the plot is not like what you're asking for.

Hmmm.. it fits, but the art turned me off. Ugh, why am I sooo picky?!
And there are a lot of comments saying that the girl's still annoying after the revenge part.

hmm, Gold (FUJITA Kazuko) seems to fit. but than again, it's by the same author who wrote silver so you might not like it because of it's art. anyway, it seems to fit, hope you'll like it.

It's a one-shot though and she wasn't dumped. She has other reasons why she wanted revenge out of the guy. Art is pretty fine, not that fancy but good enough for my taste at least.
