Detective Conan for me mmm...
It's on local tv when I was little, not sure whether it's still airing on local tv as I don't watch TV anymore mmm...
I will change this world mmm...
So the world can change me mmm...
Arthur Conan Doyle but Future Boy Conan is the best entry on the list. Conan the Barbarian likely comes 2nd to mind. The Brian Wood comics for Dark Horse were good. Too bad about the author being a creep.

Conan Edogawa will win as this is a site for weebs but Conan O'Brien is the king of the algorithm. Google trends don´t (fully) represent real life of course but the IP's ultimate niche status outside of Japan is why he could make this extended joke:
Conan Calls Out Detective Conan | CONAN on TBS

Conan Responds To The Mayor Of Conan Town | CONAN on TBS

Conan Visits Conan Town In Japan | CONAN on TBS

Is there a non-Asian market where the manga or anime didn´t peak in the 00s?

For sure it's Detective Conan, which is one of the first manga I started reading. A fun poll indeed! I've only read one of Conan Doyle's books and haven't heard of the rest, but Detective Conan never gets old. I love its past setting - there aren't too many manga which so often feature faxes, pagers, answering machines...
...Hop!
It depends on who's saying "Conan". If it's an anime/manga fan, I assume they mean Detective Conan. Anyone else, Conan O'B, who happens to be my favorite of the Conans. Grew up with him on Late Night and still follow his endeavors today. Meanwhile I haven't heard Arthur Conan Doyle referred to by just his middle name, so that'd never even cross my mind.

Detective Conan for sure, even if it's been a while since I read it.
But the answer came up since this is a poll from a manga database website. I might have answered differently had I spoke with someone regarding Sherlock Holmes.

It really just depends on context and who I'm talking to.
If I'm talking anime with someone, I'd think Detective Conan. This is also the Conan that comes to mind most if I think of the word in a bubble.
If I'm talking movies or comics with someone, it'd be Conan the Barbarian.
If I'm talking about late night shows or comedians, then it'd be Conan O'Brien.

Was Conan the Barbarian but feel like I've had a lot of Det. Conan mentions more recently, so it's kinda switched.
Mostly down to context, e.g. in comedy convo, obviously O'Brien
EDIT: The barbarian, but only after making the leap from Terry Pratchett’s parody character Cohen the Barbarian. Pterry really ensured I’d never forget Conan through the power of Cohen.

It's Detective Conan, then the Barbarian, then the Talk Show.
Literally never in the context of Sherlock Holmes. I only refer to Arthur Conan Doyle by his full name.

It's an interesting question since I've experienced this so many times. The first thing that comes to my mind is always Detective Conan.
