Mitsuba Takanashi revealed in the author notes of the 10th volume of her Sumika Sumire manga on Thursday that she plans to end the manga in the next volume.
Takanashi launched the manga in August 2013 in Shueisha's Cocohana magzine. The manga inspired an eight-episode live-action television adaptation that premiered in February 2016.
