I dont know if you use this site and have no problems, or if someone's already posted this. But!
DONT use mangafox.com!!!!
It is evil to the utmost extent and causes your computer to download the most awful and unremovable trojans I have seen so far.
I loved that site! So many manga titles, updated so far, and then this happens! This is the third time and I shoulda learned the first.
So don't use that site! Anyone know other manga sites that are harmful?

I never encountered any problem with MangaFox actually.....but one of the sites that did give me a trojan was Evil empire. One of the links gave me a trojan.

Mangafox gave me a horrible little virus. Whenever I went on the internet I would get dozens of pop-ups that just corrupted all my files. It wouldn't even let my Dad download the anti-virus directly onto the computer, he had to install it via his own harddrive. The anti-virus ended up wiped half my files because they contained the virus and my dad had to wipe my computer and restore everything with a back upn disc. It took his 6 hours to sort out and I ended up without my laptop for 2 weeks. It would have been worse except my dad's a computer expert so he knew exactly what to do. I've been alright recently since I'm now fully up-to-date with the new anti-virus but I still don't like to use mangafox if I can avoid it, onemanga is better. True it doesn't have as many series but it's never given me a virus. I tend to just buy manga now, expensive but so much safer than the internet.
The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

Interesting. Recently my other comp got fried and is basically crap. It had some weird virus. I couldn't do anything about it so i recently bought a new comp.

I rarely get viruses and haven't gotten one (yet) from mangafox. Mangafox loads pages slower though than Onemanga, at least for my computer. Does this happen to anyone else?

It's not just you. It's the same with me. Plus, Mangafox always has the ads that you can't get out of.

i agree, although if i'm desperate enough for a series that i can't find elsewhere i usually use mangafox.com or another online reading site. now that you've brought it up i doubt i'll go back to it anytime soon.

One of the sites that hurt is Mangaupdates. You would think this site is like Evil Empire, but nope. It's an encyclopedia....with links to site like Evil Empire 🙁

The only reason you might get trojans and stuff from mangafox is if you click on the ads. Personally, I have never gotten any viruses from the site, coz I don't click on those links, either that or I have good virus protection.

Well what i've noticed from mangafox is it suddenly stops, and then takes me to some ads page. It's not hard to get out of them, i just click on the back link tab and choose the page I was on.
It's a shame it's like that because they have so much manga on there, way more than onemanga. I probably do have a virus but I wouldn't know about it.
Evil Empire never gave me problems, but i stopped using it because they kicked me off. If you don't post within 60 days your outa there. I couldn't care less really XD

I don't really like reading manga online because I just don't trust the internet as much after getting 2 viruses over the summer that took me 6 hours straight of tinkering to get rid of >>. When I read though, I use onemanga because it has never given me a virus or any problems. I used to use mangafox, but I never liked the layout that it had...It looked messy and so I kept worrying that I would get a virus so I just stopped going there before anything could happen... Also there is a site called "Animemangafun.com" or something like that >> No idea...But it gave me one of the worst viruses in the world...So I wouldn't go there...
