Hello ladies and gentlemen,

we, Lenocinium Obscururm, are recruiting new staff members. We're a BL scanlation group and would like to start some new projects (e.g. projects by Ichijou Lemon, Aya Sakyo, Fukai Yuuki, Kitazawa Kyou,...) but for those we would need more team members. Interested?

RECRUITING:

• Translators (Japanese /Traditional Chinese)
• Cleaners

GENERAL:

• we don't have no real deadlines but we would appreciate it if you can do a chapter within 6-8 weeks.
• we don't expect experience as scanlator

REQUIREMENTS:

Translators (Japanese/ Traditional Chinese):

• You should be able to understand basic Japanese or Traditional Chinese - that's usually enough to translate mangas
• You should be able to translate sound effects. The proofreader will help you if you should have problems with some - we will also provide you with a lot of helpful guides/sites.
• You don't have to be an English native speaker - most of our translators have English as first or second foreign language,
• We have projects with and/or without furigana. If you prefer to translate projects with furigana we will give you those. (for Japanese translators)
• You will also get a Japanese version for cross referring if you would like to have it beside the Chinese version. (for Chinese translators)

Cleaners:

• It would be a plus if you already have experience in editing.
• We recommend Photoshop for editing.
  What you would have to do:
• Crop and rotate the scanned pages.
• Resize them to our standard format.
• Leveling the files.
• Cleaning them, including cloning and redrawing parts (also some double pages).
• Cleaning most of the SFXs. If the SFXs are too complicated to edit you are also allowed to make a footnote.
