Well, I'm probably in numbers 2, 5, 6 and 7 of these groups. I tend to talk about trivial things, don't participate in things often, and I tend get to excited too easily.

I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

3 and 5 is a mix of me i think[not so much when im with my family but with others...like friends]

I've been told by several people, mostly girls, that I was quite the interesting person when I actually talked and opened up. I'll answer your questionare.

Q: Complaining about your own problems – health, finances, relationships, job, etc. – and not being interested in those of others.
A: I have no job, no past relationships, could care less about my health and I have $230. I rarely complain about having no job. I never complain about having no past relationships because I don't want any for a good reason.

Q: Talking constantly about trivial things, always including unimportant details and repeating the same tired jokes.
A: I rarely talk, and when I do, I don't like wasting my breath. I only tell jokes when I feel it is appropriate and they never repeated.

Q: Showing no emotions, failing to make eye contact and talking in a monotone.
A: Guilty. I rarely show emotions and I normally talk a little too evenly. I always make eye contact though.

Q: Seriousness. If you never smile, joke or make light of things, you’re boring.
A: Guilty again. I never truly smile, just imitate one. I joke when I see something I find funny.

Q: Tediousness. People will find you boring if you talk too slowly or take too long to respond or make a point.
A: I make my point as soon as I can. The only problem is my mind is moving 10x faster than my mouth and I often mix up which part I am speaking about, similar to stuttering but I just say the wrong word at the wrong time. Incurable.

Q: Low participation. You’re a bore if you never join in a conversation and always go along passively with whatever is being said.
A: I only join if it isn't a stupid conversation or it doesn't involve me. I also refuse to follow if I find it tedious or stupid.

Q: Distracting behavior. If you get excited too easily or tend to use a lot of slang such as “Hey, man” or “You know,” you’re a bore.
A: Not at all. Only problem is the one I mentioned in the 'Tediousness' question.

Q: Self-centeredness – continually talking about your own life, experiences and interests.
A: I find myself to be a boring topic.

Q: Trying very hard to be nice and make a good impression in order to gain approval is boring.
A: I'm one of those 'what you see is what you get' types, so I don't dress up for anyone and I'm no brown noser. I act the same for pretty much everyone. I'll act nicer to a girl at first, later I might change my talking style and attitude depending on what type she is.

I guess doing the whole thing is kinda making me seem like a boring person. Everyone can make their own judgment on my answers. I voted that I was boring since I rarely talk.

Now my question is, what's the point? Being boring isn't a disease, it's just how you are. Why change yourself for a stupid college study? It would have been better if they made a study on how to improve yourself or something. Pointing out people's quarks isn't a talent, any one can do that. That study makes me angry. It's like a study for retarded people: "Are you retarded, if you are, then you will fit the following categories"

Cause the "cool and un-boring people" never talk about themselves or their problems, show emotions all the time, never serious, always participate, aggressive in conversations, never tries to be nice to others, always impatient and never makes complete sentences. See my point? What the F8ck is that? That's their ideal Non-boring people? Sounds like a bunch of dicks and Douche-bags to me.

same here, I feel everyone has a uniqueness to them that keeps me interested, people are constantly changing aswell, books and movies and material things like that can only be boring to me so far anyway...
