I'm thinking about setting up a site to host manga DDLs, but I'm not sure about where to get web hosting from. I've heard good things in general about Dreamhost, but they're a little pricey, and more importantly, I want to make sure whoever I get to host this will be cool with the site hosting scanlations.

So, I was just wondering if anyone who runs scanlation-oriented sites have any recommendations for web hosting. I'm not looking for anything high-end, really, just basic web hosting where I can put unlicensed manga.

I would host this off my own machine, but my ISP's terms of service forbid running servers.

We have a same idea, christo. I'm building a website for manga DDL, and now I'm using www.hostgator.com. I've heard about site5.com before but my brother told that site5 is not secure. A hacker can use a CC and buy it easily. So I'm strongly recommend you buying hosting of www.dreamhost.com, www.hostgator.com, www.hostmonster.com, www.ipower.com.
