I would like to report a possible bug with regards to Public Lists.

The Goal:

• For other people, that do not have an account here, to use the link to view my Public List.

The Problem:

• When people click my link, they are redirected to the Signup page instead of seeing my Public List.

Steps to Replicate this:

1. Make an account in Mangaupdates
2. Add a series to your Completed List
3. Go to "My Lists" > "Complete List", then make the "is this list public" Yes
4. Copy the Public URL and paste in a different website or notepad
5. Logout of your account (or ask someone you have shared the link with) then click the Public URL (this will result in the URL redirecting to Signup page)

Currently, I am not sure whether this is intended behavior or not. But, in my opinion, it is a little off to ask someone to make an account first so that they can view your Completed List.

even through all the smut and isekai listings, i'm an MU fan as this site is the closest one to having intricate tags i found, so if someone wants the perks of this site i dont think it's a problem to sign up

While I do agree with the idea that signing up gets you perks for a really useful service, I also feel that a list made public ought to be public.

I'm a jack of all trades but master of none. Too many jars and not enough hands.
