i skip school a lot, mostly due to lack of sleep like @chineserider...but only on days when i dont have any important classes, and also on days when i have mechanics because our mechanics teacher is terrible so i do all the studying at home....mom knows about this and she's okay with it as long as my grades are not affected

i doubt i'll have this privilege next year in university though....since im going to study engineering ;__;

Never skipped grade school....

Now skipping classes in college, that's a whole different story...

Love,
Pika.

I skipped school a lot in high school but I was mostly sick at the time. I was pretty much the constantly sick character in manga.

the only thing i've ever skipped was the junior gathering, to talk about buying class rings. i forgot that juniors were supposed to report to the cafeteria and had gone to my class instead. i didn't want to walk in there thinking it would be too embarrassing. lucky for me, i wasn't the only one who had forgotten. my friend had gone to class first as well. lol

I don't think I ever skipped school before.. even now in college I rarely do it because college students are not reliable when asking for notes about the last lessons 🤢

I skipped far more college classes than anyone ever should. I am surprised I graduated with as high of a GPA as I did honestly.

Never skipped in high school though.

Same.
They took attendance at my high school and called home if you were absent lol.
I skipped so many college classes because I didn't feel like waking up lol.

I would never skip school in high school, even on the senior skip days.Except one day freshman year I was having a fever and I had a bio test. My coach almost killed me for skipping though and I got punished and so I never skipped ever again. College is definitely different. Its more like what classes do I actually go to? I'm like most lazy engineers, since more than half the class skips as well.

I used to skip a lot. Especially in sixth form when teachers cared slightly less about attendance than before, and even more so at university when required attendance was 50% and the closest you'd get to being in trouble for skipping would be a politely disinterested email after you'd missed a few lectures in a row. To be fair, I do have a mental illness that makes getting out and living a normal life difficult, but that didn't earn me much sympathy from teachers so I mostly let them think I was a lazy truant.

One time my parents went away for a week and I skipped school three days in a row to read manga on my dad's laptop in bed. That was fun. Another time someone brought a PS2 with Guitar Hero into school, we set it up in a small classroom that was very rarely used for lessons and then skipped most of our lessons to play it. That was very fun.

Skipped since middle school. Only skipped couple times since I was still a kid and was afraid of getting "caught" by adults.

Skipped tons in high school. Usually skip half the day or the whole day every couple days since I didn't care. Amazing how I never got suspended (although I did get a ton of detentions which I never went to anyway so whatever).

Barely ever skipped in college. Maybe in the beginning of freshman year since I was still feeling lazy from high school. Studied hard and now done with school.

It's funny how some people go the opposite way unlike me. Never skip in grade school, yet skip a lot in college. Guess that makes sense since no one gives a shit about your college GPA for jobs and stuff and only look at your degree and achievements and whatnot. If you're taking GED, that's a whole another story though.

Taking the day off to "study" for exams (i.e. finishing Code Geass R2 and relaxing).
