skipping school

In high school... all the time.
I've skipped so much, I got suspended 🤢 Plus in my old school, if you skip school and still wear your school uniform outside, it's considered truancy which is worse than just skipping a class 'cause its "bad for the school's image". I went to a super strict, old-fashioned Catholic school.
But I hardly missed a class in college 😃

Hmm... in highschool, I didn't need to skip school since I missed so much of it from all the extracurricular activities. I started skipping when I entered post-secondary, which turned out badly when I got addicted to skipping.

hmmm i feign illness alot ever since elementary school i can usually pretend i have the symptoms for anything since elementary i read all my moms medical books and found out the lots of things that set me far above most of my friends during studies but it also told me the symptoms and how to check for the illness...... 😀 i could even fool the professional docs but then i would always regret it when they assign me medicine that conks me out all day heh in fact school here started around three weeks ago and ive already got 2 weeks of excused absences from terminal illnesses
i usually stop after the school sends me that threatening letter stating that if i missed anymore school id be held back even though im still in the top 5 at my school

I've never really "skipped" school. Recently I did...and it's so damn boring -_-
I don't know how so many people can do so at a constant rate! it's...omg

Heh, sounds just like me. I would usually forge my medical certificate from my mom's clinic.
Or when I don't feel like going to class but I'm already at school, I would go to the school clinic and say that I have cramps or migraine and sleep there... but I can only use that like once every couple of months.
...I hope I'm not giving anyone ideas though. 😐
I'm having a little problem. Tomorrow there will be an self-made oktoberfest first period. I wanna go but I have history class. 😛

Mmm... a lot of people skip in groups to hang out or to go play pool or whatever. But, skipping in highschool was boring for me too. I usually only skip now if I need to cram for a test or have a last minute assignment due.

If it were me, I'd just tell my teacher that I was helping out in the event, or my stomach hurts and I have to go to the washroom.

I went crazy in my senior year in high school. I only needed two classes to graduate and one of them was 1st period. The other one was 4th period English. I was in an advanced class, but then I started taking college courses and they had to change my schedule so they put me in regular English... which was taught by a lady who assumed we were all idiots. My grades were to the point where I'd tell the teach I wasn't going to do a project because even with a zero grade i'd get a B from the class. On my report card my absences were like:
1st period - 3
2nd period - 5
3rd period - 5
4th period - 9
5th period - 27
My fifth period was a typing class and I was really into computer programming so I could basically skip 3 days and complete a week's worth of assignments in one class period. Plus high school really sucked. There was no reason for me to be there.
In college it only got worse. I don't skip classes that I like (Japanese is the only one), but everything else I rarely goto unless its a loser teacher who counts attendance as part of the grade (which is so stupid... your grade should be your grade. Thats it). My grades are good so I don't see it as an issue. I feel that if I can skip class and get good grades, that reflects more on you as a teacher or the quality of the textbook than me as a student.

my parents are much worse to deal with than security guards.
but ive skipped out in the middle of the day when i knew for sure werent going to do anything or check attendance. i've even snuck into another school to hang out with my friends there a couple of times. never in the learning classes though. can't believe they didnt notice an extra, unknown face they hadnt seen for the whole school year. unless they didnt care.

keh, my school has our cellphone numbers. and our parents numbers.
yup, so I put my cellphone number in it, and my friends' numbers. So when they do call, I pick up (or my friends do).
And we need like... notes with parents' signatures. I've become master at that 🤣 aka "the person with the most adult-y handwriting" that people go to 😛
I still skip in University.... (yay for self study!!)

🤣 i do that too, but in my case its easier since i write the notes in the real cases as well, and my mom just signs it.
the best security guard, EVER.

When I was in high school it was easy to skip, because I walked and my mom was never home, so I usually just went to my friend's ice cream shop. (:haha 🙂
But at my school, you had to have a certain amount of days attended to receive credit for the class, so I ended up spending weeks after school making up for classes (That I was passing anyways) and since I was quiet a lot, I often got marked absent on days I was actually there, so I usually could get out of a few absences by persuasion.
And there was that time I skipped school for five months...
