Finished my finals and all my college work for this semester. I literally had to write a TON. After I was finished I smiled like crazy.

7:28pm. I'm sitting on the couch, enjoying the Christmas tree, dimly lit lamp and listening to the whirring of my sister's laptop. My sister's watching her usual daily dose of celebrity news when suddenly, Christmas music is BLASTING outside.

My initial thought, "What in the world, neighbors?! Why would you KILL your ear hairs like that? As much as I love Christmas music... this is ridiculous... you're causing a ruckus for the neighborhood!"

10 seconds later, my mom runs into the room and says, "Come out to the front! There's a parade going on outside!!"

"WHAT?!" shout my sister and I in disbelief.

We run out to the house's front windows and 'lo behold. I see --

A police car, with it's lights on, driving at 5 mph followed by a red trolley strung with Christmas lights... followed by Santa Claus in a sleigh on a float (something that you'd expect to see at Disneyland's Electrical Parade)... followed by another police car.

I was stunned, surprised and EXTREMELY charmed. 😀 I ran outside to see the tail-end of the parade... tempted on hopping into my car to chase Santa... with camera in hand, of course. But... I changed my mind, and went back inside, not believing what I just saw.

Just talking to the girl I love made me smile today.

Finishing/Submitting my last final.
Now I'm free for my month of winter break 🤣

Getting a dramatic story about eating oranges and then sneezing.

Finding out that Gohou Drug might be making a return under a new title and reworking. Even if it's not shounen ai, I'm still holding out hope for a damn good story 🙂

Getting a smartphone! For the first time eeeevaaaaaaar!!!

It's Christmas Eve: there's tons of things that have made me smile.
A picture of Santa Clause on a motorcycle one of my friends texted me.
The fact that I did not wake up at 5:30 in the morning when another friend texted me a Merry Christmas (in her defense, it was after 10 her time).
My hair turned out. So now it'll look great during the Christmas Eve service tonight. And my best friend celebrated the victory over my hair with me.
