This is an incident that happened to me a long time ago in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada:
I was walking down the street during day-time thinking over some serious matters with a destination in mind, when I passed by a small group of people.
A smoking woman then called, 'You dropped something.'
I quickly looked at the ground, searching.
'Your smile,' she suddenly said, making me laugh.
'But you got it back.'
It was an interesting encounter.
