but yeah, i really dont understand the fascination with yaoi, im a guy and fond of ecchi goodness, but i dont even really have a taste for yuri.

Hmm. I'm female, and read some yaoi. I prefer shounen-ai (and shoujo-ai) though. I read these genres because they involve relationships that deal with issues straight couples don't usually have to deal with. I'd like to point out that my favorite genre is seinen; titles like Akumetsu and Berserk. And yes, I am very straight though I have close friends of every gender and persuasion.

i agree with you, I don't like yaoi or shounen-ai.

anyway, I am a girl.

i'm a yuri loving guy...can't really understand girls and yaoi...most guys in yaoi look like girls...all those times when i naively opened a link to manga with great rating and found yaoi, never have i seen two bearded fellas (actually thank god for that)

as for me i have yet to see any kind of otaku/manga nerd of any kind. and as for myself i dont even let any of my friends/acquaintances know that i enjoy manga/anime
