The One Piece special is out now, so check it out and post your thoughts.

Personally, it was well thought out, detailing some of Gold Roger's earlier exploits as well as some cameos of familiar characters (some that might surprise you).

Shiki looks like an interesting character, especially how he manage to escape from Impel Down and judging from the last few panels, it appears to foreshadow a future arc.

Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter.

i thought this was only a special release to accompany the release of the new one piece movie. i think shiki is in that movie. i don't think it's forshadowing a brand new arc

I'm looking forward to the new movie~ I have a feeling it's going to be better than the other ones... (I just hope there won't be any bouncing boobs >__>)

Watch the 'Strong World' trailer on youtube. That Shiki guy is there. I am quite sure of it.

Anyways, I think this chapter is amazing. It gave answers about a lot of things. To know that Garp and Sengoku were fighting side by side. We get to see the young Shichibukai. Also, the best part was the pirate king himself. We got to see him and his crew in a different light.

I hope Oda uses some of the events dealing with Shiki in the manga. It seems very interesting.
I wonder what Garp's title would be if he actually accepted those promotions.
