Whoa, I'm posting in the news. This is scary - what to say!

We just added support for editing custom list titles and descriptions, as well as setting
each list to be a specific type (reading, wish, complete, or unfinished).

So hopefully nothing breaks. If it does, we've got this topic going in the forum, so please

Also, feel free to make suggestions too. I know I like hearing them, and since I'm new
here (less than a year) I haven't heard them all a million times like Manick and
lambsies. So maybe you can get me all excited about something that they're rolling their
eyes over hearing for the 800,000th time, and actually make it happen. ^_^

sorry to doublepost but i just tried the features: everything works well, but if you go see the author's page which has the series on your list, it doesn't show the picture of "reading" or "completed" next to them

Nice job!!! It seems like it's working great! I'm sure I'll be spending many hours of the coming days or weeks or whatever organizing and reorganizing and listing and so on...

One little (but perhaps not so easily solved) thing I noticed was that on a series page where it shows how many people have the series on whichever list, it shows, for example, "On 5 custom lists", but then when you click a user's name to go to the custom list they have the series on, it gives a "That is not a valid list!" error message. Not sure how many people use this function too often, but I'm nosy and I'd like to see what kind of lists other people are making for series I follow. If it's possible an' all, you know 😀 I'm not sure how easy it is to link to a specific user's individual list, but maybe the link could direct to their profile page or something (this only matters at all if the user has made the custom list public; otherwise it doesn't show their name at all)

I'm still having problems adding series to custom list through series' pages using the dropdown list. Nothing happens. And I've tried everything including using other browsers (Opera, FireFox, IE) and clearing my cache in each and every one of them.

A fix is coming! I just didn't have it in before we updated the live server.

I like the new list settings, but have yet to try them to the point of advice and bugs about it.

I just want to say thanks, and that i like your sense of humour ^^

I figured out a way to handle this, I just haven't actually done it yet. It's on my "to-do", so it'll be fixed sometime in the near future.

I wanna be able to add private comments to some of the manga I'm reading.

I'd use it for things like writing plot summaries to myself so I can pick up where I've left off without having to re-read things, for series that have slow release times.
And for keeping track of where I stored stuff on my computer or where I downloaded stuff. Or for writing which chapters I read, if read them out of order. Etc.

That really shouldn't be happening once you clear your cache. You might try clearing the cache, then immediately quitting the browser (all open windows in the browser), and then try it. It could be the browser is caching what it has in memory to the disk, and never actually grabbing the new JavaScript file.

That sounds neat. I can think of situations where I'd totally use that, myself. I'll talk to Manick and see what he thinks.
