As we know most of manga from scanlation group always packed in .zip or .rar. The question is what is your favourite compresion tools for open the package ?
For me 7zip is the best, since it give us best package size in .zip than other compresion tools and of course it freeware 😀

And open source. I like peazip's user interface much better, but I couldn't get batch tools to show up in the context menu and I almost always decompress in batches.

Zip. files FTW

I hate rar. I had to download WinRar so I could download those goddamn files. The trial's expired now, but I don't want to get rid of it because I need it 🤣

I couldn't find an alternative. Anyone know any?

I use winrar by default, has been using it for years. As for opening them, I don't really open the compressed files with a compresion application, since the program I use to read manga can view both .rar and .zip extensions.

7-zip
peazip

I switched for the same reason you want to, after using winrar for years.

I use a cracked Winrar.
That's all I've needed.

This. It's honestly the only program I've ever used when it comes to compressed files.

WinRar, its the first I've used and the only tool I need. Don't go anywhere without it!

As a Mac user i don't really need any compression tools, becouse there is already something installed, but i'm using Stuffit eighter way. There was once a file that i wanted to decompress but my Mac couldn't do it(i think it was 7z), ever since then it's working as my primary compressing/decompressing tool.

Cracked Winrar, easy to use. Although I don't usually compress stuff anyways.

Winrar, it works fine. I do use a few others though sometimes.
