I think it adds to importance, if you look at it that way. Its nice to be held at some suspense.

I also really like it when the characters are allowed to relax. God they just fought like a hundred people this past arc, the least they need is rest. I also think that Kakashi might still become the 6th Hokage, because remember, There are active Hokages and Inactive ones, as the case when the 3rd retired and the 4th took over.

I always assumed that Jiraiya was talking about that shinigami technique that the Fourth developed, which would bring the deaths of both Sasuke and Naruto.

Hopefully, we will find out what Karin was talking about in the next few chapters. I don't think she forgot about the Fox...how could she? And, I don't think that Itachi was evil. I just can't think of any other evil that would be inside Naruto.

Don't have much too add, good chapter though.

About the evil - Itachi was well a double agent really(He was a good guy, but acted bad as it was his final mission from the Leaf). Maybe it's what he gave Naruto - It being Susano-o would be a good guess and I suppose it would be the only way to defeat Sasuke's Susano-o. Though anticipating and waiting for it to come in play, which will probably be awhile til he uses it. Again can't forget the Kyuubi though it was said that the fourth sealed the good side of the Kyuubi in Naruto. Lastly it may be the shinigami Jutsu and that would make sense for "We will both die"

Hopefully the opening pages of the chapter don't mean we're about to have 500 new characters introduced. At least we got to see old characters again. Thank god Tsunade is back. No surprise she woke up looks intact--besides her, the number of halfway decent-looking women in this series is pretty low; Kishimoto had to preserve her image.

My opinion of Karin has gone up again; it's pretty rare for someone to tell Sakura when she's being stupid. (It needs to happen more often.) So, just what did Karin see inside Naruto? She knows he's got the 9-tails, so all that shock for just that? And what mystical thing did Naruto see while fighting Sasuke which convinced him Sasuke couldn't be beat? (Besides Kishimoto's plot-delaying-no jutsu, that is.)

And unless I missed something, the events of the past few chapters really AREN'T something that should have made Naruto all chipper. Deciding the next time you fight your best friend the both of you will die, one would think, would tend to put a burden on one's shoulders instead of taking it off...

Glad Tsunade's back, but I was hoping that the story would switch to Kabuto and what was happening to him.

And I'm confused about something: How did that diamond get back on Tsunade's forehead? I doubt she was able to focus her chakra when she was in that coma...

If I remember right, when ever she uses that store of chakra, she has to enter a recuperative state. I think her being in that coma was due to the fact that she used so much of her chakra protecting the village that her body had to go into this coma in order reduce mental activity and focus on recovery.

Actually, what happens is that when she uses that jutsu, she becomes immortal for a short period of time because she's making new cells at an accelerated rate to repair all her wounds. And when she recovers, she does it just like any other person would recover from injuries. She did go into the coma because of using her chakra in order to heal the villagers, but in order to get that diamond back on her forehead, she needs to focus and build up the chakra (Which she shouldn't be able to do when she's in a coma).

And so, Sasuke can yet again, be EVEN MORE powerful than before. Gosh, why must there be so many trump cards?! And wouldn't Sasuke's vision still be all blurry after the transplant? Since Itachi used many eye techniques that caused his eyes to deteriorate... (Or maybe after Madara harvested the eyes, he did something to restore them to their best condition? Just a thought.) I'm a bit disappointed that Sasuke's kinda "cheating" but yeah, hopefully Naruto will also pull something out of his sleeve.

Ok small change to my idea from last week:

Ok I liked this chapter. However I think that Sasuke is going to be out for a while because he is swithing eyes. So the future chapters will be about Kabuto, Bee, and (the most important) the Naruto romance side plot. And maybe (just a guess) Karin might start liking Naruto. However when Naruto goes back he is going to see Hinata and is going to act weird. Eventually he will ask her to go somewhere (maye on a date) and is going to tell her that he is happy she said she loved him but he can't accept. He is going to say that he can't forget Sakura and tells her maybe when its all over things will change. Sakura is going to be angry at Naruto whenever he acts weird around Hinata and not know why. She is going to ask Tsunade about it and she'll tell her about herself and Jariya. Sakura is going to hear about Naruto talking with Hinata (maybe date) and follow them. She is then going to confront Naruto after because she'll feel like this is her fault. Then she'll run away and Naruto will chase her. When he catchs her it will be at some important place. Naruto will then ask her why she's crying and she'll hit him and yell that he is an idiot. Then yell that its all his fault that she is like this and that she can't stop thinking about him. Then Naruto will apologize and try to cheer her up blaming himself. And in the middle of it Sakura with jump on him and kiss him.
Ok I'm done for now but what do you think?

Instead of Karin just liking Naruto. I bet she finds out about the Fox and feels horrible and comforts him after he tells Hinata that he can't love her. Naruto and Karin start going everywhere together and Sakura flips out. Thats when she runs into him at an important place.

Also Im not trying to be mean but if you really couldn't see that Tsunade wasn't dead well..... Thats sad. I mean everytime Kishi doesn't show something directly he is trying to scare you. There are so many examples (Hinata and half the village during pains attack, Naruto after getting beat the crap out of by Kabuto, and now with Tsunade(there are more but don't want to name them all)).

Dude, are you for real? Wasnt it clear enough in the last few chapters that Sakura still loves Sasuke and Naruto turned down her fake confession? And before you start branding me as a Hinata fan, please dont as I m not a fan of either of the two girls
