As a guy, I read a lot of shounen and seinen mangas. But that doesnt stop me from reading a shoujo every now and then as long as the plot is interesting.

I mainly read shounen/seinen. I've only read a few shoujo/josei mangas that seemed a bit more interesting. But I usually avoid them since they aren't my type

I'm female, and I read all four demographics (shoujo, josei, shounen, seinen). When deciding whether to read something or not, I look at the description and the comments/reviews; not the demographic.
The only type of manga I will NEVER read are the ones with extreme fan-service, graphic nudity and/or sex scenes in them - regardless of genre or demographic.

Everything that catches my interest!
although that everything is usualy shoujo/josei/seinen. I just hate all the dumb extremely drawn out fights in shounen, it bores me 🤢

I don't really care what the genre is as long as the story and dialogue doesn't piss me off. I'm pretty open, though I do tend to stick to shounen, seinen and josei. I find that most shoujo aren't to my liking but I've tried many different types of manga, especially when I run out of things to read.
I read anything catch my interest except yaoi/yuri.
Not really like harem, too focused on pointless ecchi or comedy but those are still acceptable if the story is interesting.

I have to say, why does anyone stick to the genre you're "supposed" to read? Me, I'm a sucker for a good romance story, be it yaoi, yuri, or straight. But I also like the regular action series, cause I think everyone likes to watch people beat each other up. Manga is meant to be enjoyed, and if you're a guy who enjoys shoujo like me, or a girl who likes shounen, who cares?

you must haven't read kaminomi. 😀
my reading list mostly seinen, shonen and josei tied in second place, and shoujo doesn't get into it. so basically, i read anything except shoujo.
grammar mistake is intentional, grammar nazis need their entertainment.

Female; while I do read mainly shoujo/josei, I will read ANYthing that catches my interest. 😀
Same here, mainly shoujo/josei but I will read any (good) manga of any genre 😛

I'd welcome any manga regardless of its demographic - no good in limiting myself and to brush aside any good stuff out there.
The majority of what I read just happens to be seinen/shoujo.

I mostly read shounen, but also seinen, shoujo, jousei... I don't like yaoi very much, yuri is a bit better but that's also a bit... Oh and I love most ecchi manga^^
I'm a girl btw...
But I read everything that sounds interesting, I can't limit myself to ONLY shounen or ONLY something else, it just depends on the manga^^ But it's mostly shounen manga that have my attention^^"
