This week's computer-related poll was initially suggested by godlover but also amended by both 狂気 and kitty1826x. Doesn't require much explanation...
You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related)

I guess anime on TV is a good intro

None of the above, but probably closest to "Multi-boot". Will explain in the next paragraph.
I'm running OSX (which is technically half-BSD) as a host operating system for multiple virtual machine sessions via VMware Fusion, each one with a different operating system installed. At the moment, my sessions include OpenBSD, Bitrig (a fork of OpenBSD which I contribute to), Debian and Gentoo (both Linux distributions).
Works better than multi-booting since I can have multiple operating systems running concurrently. At the moment, my primary operating system - the one I interact with most often - is probably OpenBSD, so I picked BSD from the available choices.

OS X Yosemite. Sometimes install Windows as well, to play games and run SAI. But whatever the case, I'd always come back to OS X all tattered from using trashy Windows OS.
Seriously, what the heck is Microsoft thinking? It's been going downhill with every version and every product they released since XP. Not that much better can be said to Apple if you look at the latest iPhone... -sigh- At least it's only the iPhone. Yosemite is by far the best OS I've used after all. In comparison... Windows 8... arge... Don't even mention it. I've hated Windows 7 for some reason, but Windows 8 is just unusable.

I use windows. I have considered using mac or linux, but decided against it because the best offline manga reader can be fully used only in windows 7.

I guess its Multi-boot for me. I'm running OSX Mavericks on my laptop with Win7 on virtual machine via Parallels. Meanwhile, I also have a hand built PC box that boots either into Win7 or WinXP (for old games that wont run on Win7). Windows 7 for me was an improvement over XP, but I really didn't like Win8. I am looking forward to Win10. Not liking the visual and interface design choices in OSX Yosemite or on the iPhone. May wait for the probable new OSX in another year and a half. However, I'm getting sick and tired of Apple's 1-2 year OSX release schedule that keeps breaking some of my software.
Would have been interesting if the poll broke down which versions of Windows, OSX and Linux people are running. But it would probably take too much space, still would have been cool.

Windows.
I agree that Microsoft has a bad habit of fixing things that aren't broken. The latest version of MS Word is atrocious - I use it for work, but I still use MS Word 2003 for everything else.

no idea why you even need an offline manga reader on Linux.
