I used to wear them under my holey jeans. But that was to the benefit of the world.

You had jeans over it - you weren't blindingly stretchy and completely visible.

You mean you couldn't take them to a tailor so that the holes could be patched and you could be decent without the tights? Or I guess there was also someone like "mom" that could've patched your jeans for free... 😳

Well, they were holey to begin with on purpose... but as they got older, the holes got out of hand, it didn't help they were covered in paint and people decided to write on them. I mean... they were the most comfortable jeans on the planet,

They got a viking funeral.

You mean you burned them? Oh, no... I would have stuck patches on them until a relative stole them. It's fasionable, I shall say.

Well, not just clothes. Here's the thing, girls can wear pants and the color blue, and no one really bats an eye. If a guy wears pink, or a skirt, it's a big deal.If a skirt is short, it's to get attention, if a shirt is tight, it's for attention, but when is it too much? My question is, what do you think is too revealing and do you think there is anything either gender shouldn't wear?

For one thing, guys do wear pink shirt and people don't really care. The skirt on the other hand were made for girls so it would obviously be weird if a guy wears it. There is double standards though because it is okay for girls to wear guy clothes (to a certain extent before being considered a tomboy) while a guy would be call gay for wearing girl clothes. I don't think guys should wear girl clothes (at all) and that it is fine for girls to wear guy clothes sometimes (like a big shirt, sweatshirt or jacket). A skirt that goes midthigh and up is too short and revealing unless the person wears shorts underneath it. Tight shirts are fine unless you can actually see through the material or your belly button is showing or if you can see a big amount of cleavage.

The only thing I hate clothes related is.... when girls wear short little minis and revealing tops and then complain about the attention they get. Like... you do realize, when you were putting that on in the first place, that was most likely going to happen? That's just common sense to me at least. Personally, I have nothing against girls wearing revealing clothing, especially when they can pull if off. I'm all bout the eye candy. But, if you can't handle the attention you get when you chose to wear that type of clothing and complain about it, then you shouldn't be wearing it in the first place.

^i get what you mean. In my experience, because i dress quite in an eccentric style (lolita, oshare...) i get stared at alot. And i hate it. So, they say "then don't wear such attention seeking clothes! You're asking for it."
yeh, but, then should i stop wearing what i love?- its what i love!" I'm wearing this for myself, not others.

on clothing clothing. Denim jackets are " 😲 " facial inciting!! [imo of course] especially more so when collaborated with denim pants. No go! No go!

i'm sorry if i offended any of ye denim jacket owners, especially if its a light blue....

^light blue denim jackets 😔 . I'm pretty judgemental when it comes to what other people are wearing. I'm always thinking stuff like those sleeves should be shorter, that belt needs to be wider, and that's a bad color combo, etc.

That being said I think either gender can wear whatever they want even if it does hurt my eyes. I'm sure I've hurt the eyes of others too. Still I think if you're going somewhere like work and there's a dress code it should be followed. And I never like too see too much cleavage, midriff, or crack.

Regardless of what you wear, be confident and don't feel like you need to do this.

Hate this as well. I wear quite alot of clothing that people don't normally associate with my demographics/where I live. Stuff like wearing a beanie year round (I live in SoCal), New England prep (chino shorts, boat shoes, button down), work wear clothing (flannel, Red Wing boots), more "fashion forward" pieces (aka ninja steez). I get ALOT of looks/comments from people, some positive, alot negative. I accept it; it's the price I pay for wearing what I want and having an eclectic style. My friends get used to it (though they always make sure to point out how much they hate a new piece of mine 🤣 ) and I don't care what strangers think.
