This post will be my first post in almost 10 year since I joined.
So yeah, I love this site. This site has been with my from the moment I found online reading until now. I think I got emotional because some of my fav place to read got taken down. But I’m okay with it as I can read Japanese and I’m one of the translator in a scanlation team. Reason I open the forum is because I couldn’t find any other place to talk about manga, I tried twitter but imo it’s too toxic, then discord is filled with immature stuff or dead silence. I think I will lurk here more. So far the people in the discussion seems nice. Cheers and hope everyone is having a nice day 🙂

Yeah, I wholly agree with what you said. People just wanna say their thing and go on. I'm trying to be super open-minded and have open conversations, but it's a struggle.

I think I can relate to you quite a bit. In my previous go to's and many current options being filled with toxicity, too much politics in a place for fandom, and mods not doing their jobs. A very frustrating problem for someone who just wants to share interests.

Mangaupdates is a nice place in that it's quite peaceful. 🙂 Folk here seem friendly and non-judgemtal so I hope you enjoy your stay here!
