But does anyone think that she's not gonna hit Suzumebachi successfully two times in a row without distractions next chapter?

It's a sad day in Bleach history when I make a correct prediction. Bleach is starting to get VERY boring and predictable again with this lazy writing...

But that was the fastest I've ever seen anyone go from being badass to being played like a bitch. Why did Kubo let Soi Fon get played like that? Ggio Vega (I'm hoping that second g was a typesetting error) made Soi Fon look like she would be better suited serving under the 11th Division, just slashing and cutting without thinking ahead. Ggio even told her how stupid she was on page 05.

And I wanted Ōmaeda to get his ass kicked so much. I don't care if Kubo tried to give him his moment, he's just another one of those shallow rich people that need to get the beat down they deserve...

*sighs*

Y'know, I really do like Soi Fon. I really do.

But she had to go and be a typical Bleach character.

See, the thing is, while it's fun to take long breaks in the middle of a fight to remember something in your past that made you stronger or explain to your opponent exactly what you attack will do - which, might I add, would totally enable a smart opponent to figure out how to nullify what you were about to do - it's just not realistic.

So while I really want to cheer for Soi Fon all the way, I kind of can't, because I like the few characters in this manga who, like Ggio, actually fight instead of just talking and talking and never shutting up.

Dammit, Kubo, you've gone and made me all indecisive again! Stop doing this to me!

@Loose, i had just woken up, as well, so i got lucky, being able to make the topic xD

@Lynz, i know i know~!

I think they should put five or so pages in each chapter for each fight...

To speed it along....

*giggles* There we go, fallof...

Yes, I agree with you. It'd be nice if the plot would actually move. Don't get me wrong, I do like the fighting. And getting to see more and more ubermoves and bankais and whatnot is clearly the most fun in that series in ages. But the problem is that looking at the amount of story progression in a chapter like this (read: next to none) does lead me to conclude that getting past all these fights will take FOREVER.

And I don't want to wait that long.

I mean, how long until we return to our favourite redhead's struggle to save the big-breasted one? How long until we can actually hear about Aizen's maniacally brilliant plans again, or see him fight?

How long will you toy with my emotions and spare time with this stagnant plot that will forever focus only on fight after fight, Tite Kubo?!?!?! Think about my feelings too!

*calms down*

But seriously, let's get moving on this plot, mmmkay?

I care not for Aizen or Ichigo, I'd rather see the fight between shorty and Halibel.

Or Stark and his two combatants.

Okay, I may have selfish reasons for caring about the Ichigo part, but... well, I have selfish reasons for caring about the Ichigo part.

*hides poster of Ulquiorra that's up in her room*

Oooh, shorty and Halibel. Yes, that one does look fun, doesn't it? Though I have to admit that half the appeal of watching Halibel's fight - as far as I'm concerned, that is - is in wondering how on earth she manages to not flash everyone when she moves, considering her outfit... I'm currently assuming there's tape of some sort involved.

Erm, where was I? Oh yeah, fighting! I'd like to actually get to see a fight all at once, personally. Instead of five seconds of one fight, then FLASH on to the next one then FLASH on to the next one so that they're all disjointed little things. I'd prefer one of these chapters to actually contain a whole fight, one that will be finished within the foreseeable future, as opposed to these ones that are mentioned once, only to dissappear for... until Kubo finishes featuring five seconds of all the other ones.

We must share the same brain... biggrin

I'm going to give Bleach one last chance with the next chapter. If it doesn't end a fight, develop the plot a bit, or make me feel satisfied with the chapter, then I'm dropping Bleach until March.

And you can quote me on that.

eek Perhaps we do, since that's exactly what I did with the anime when I realized that the fillers were, well... fillers. I put it on hold for a nice, long time, and haven't bothered to re-start it since then.

But I wish I had that determination for the manga. I'm just such a sucker for the pretty pictures that I can't stop reading it, no matter how much I wish the plot would actually stop being stagnant... well, to this point at least. A few more weeks of this kind of development and I may actually be able to tear myself away from it.

Kinda funny considering the fact that you're reading Bleach which in term of realistic - is way off cool . But then again, that's just the thing isn't it, Bleach seems to suffer some strength issues. There''s just no way to tell how strong each character are. For example, Kenpachi seems like the strongest of em all only to lose to Ichigo in earlier the earlier arc and then all of a sudden looks like the strongest again when he fought with on of the espada in Hueco Mundo. It gets confusing sometime and annoying at other times just like this chapter. Sigh

Wow, I can't believe I just read a chapter focuses on Omaeda. Never thought that would happen. I hope it never happens again.

Anyway, I'm slightly disappointed in Soi Fon. She should have just handled her opponent right away. This at least gives Kubo an excuse to spend more time on her, which for us Soi Fon fans isn't bad. It seems like a waste against this guy, but here's hoping we get to see her bankai... or at the very least a tender Yoruichi flashback.

I found this strangely fitting, as he IS the lieutenant to the special forces squadron. Obfuscating Stupidity simply fits to a tee as such.

Hell, I erased my entire Bleach anime folder just because they were going into another filler arc. The only reason why I even collected the anime was because in the manga, some action scenes were confusing, and the anime shows you how the characters do their moves.

Besides, I have friends who collect the anime. So if I want them again, all I have to do is copy the episodes from their hard drive
cool

Soi Fong got beaten

After the opponent was proud of his own victory, he was going to give the final blow

But Omaeda managed to protect Soi Fong

Soi Fong: I have seen the power of a released arrancar once before, though I have prepared to fight with espada. Whatever, I know them well enough now

...

So it took Soi Fong of all people an entire chapter to figure out what to do?

Jesus H.Christ...

I'll wait for the chapter to come out, and if it's disappointing (It looks like that already...), then I'm keeping my promise.

AND WHY THE HELL IS SHE LOSING TO A FRACCION WHEN SHE SAID HERSELF THAT SHE WAS PREPARED TO FIGHT AGAINST ESPADAS? mad
