Do you like BIG robots? I know I sure do!
OK here is the deal. Post all the good Mecha games you can think of.
Lets see if we can get a bunch of good games posted on here as a reference for anyone who is looking to play some awesome Mecha games.

I will edit my post and put all the game names in it as the games accumulate.
Feel free to put a short description of the game if you want.

Games so far:

Exteel - I am currently playing this game and its quite fun actually.
Its by NCsoft and its free to download and play. You can customize your Mech, gain ranks, skills and etc. Its for online play only. There is also the option of buying in game currency and using it to get some special items. The good thing however is that SKILL is a MAJOR part of the game and gear isn't very important.

Shogo - Probably my favorite Mecha game. Single player, pretty old but it still kicks ass.

Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner Sequel of Zone of the Enders. Very fast paced combat, using melee combat, standard energy bursts, and an arsenal of various weapons/tools with different effects (ex: machine gun, regenerating device, stun blasts, homing missiles, energy beam). Good storyline/graphics overall.

Any of the **Armored Cores **are great.

I personally liked Federation VS. Zeon. It's slow and chunky but then again they are mechs so they're supposed to be slow and chunky.

Robo Pit was also fun back in the day but it's really really old.

Well, i'd say SD Gundam Generation Spirits, Super Robot Generations and it's Gaiden, and Front Mission Series for strategy. As for Fighting maybe Gundam Battle Assault 2. If action then Armored Core and maybe Scramble Commander 2nd or ACE series.

Polite bump.

The last Armored Core game looked pretty awesome. It's a shame that Western game publishers don't invest in mecha games nowadays. I bet that in Japan they have loads of them.
