Chrono Trigger! I completely agree with that one!
It was such an amazing game! I'm glad they remade
it from the SNES to the playstation and the DS but
I really wish they'd make a freaking sequel!

I'm surprised that no one's mentioned this one.....
actually I'm not but since I figure no one else will....
Final Fantasy II or rather as many know it Final Fantasy IV!
There actually is a sequel but it will never reach America.
It's only for Japanese Cell Phones but as far as I'm concerned
there is no sequel since it will most likely never come here.

The Lunar Series: I don't even count Lunar: Dragon Song. It
was horrible and the worst of the Lunar games. It's a complete
disgrace and shouldn't be counted. To be honest I don't even
think it was a sequel to the other two. I always figured there
would have been two more sequels after Lunar: SSS and
Lunar: Eternal Blue. It just seems like there would have/should
had been.

The Bouncer(PS2)

The mechanics and storyline for the game aren't so great but there was room for improvement. They've made sequel for worst(Flatout).

I agree that was the first game I ever seen on the PS2 and I think that the graphics was way better than other launch titles but it really needs an sequel. Also I think that Dead Rising should have a sequel or even just new download able content.

I vaguely remember this game... Golden Axe-esque 3-d side scrolling fighter with some customization of skills, don't remember much about the story. Though I do remember I finished it in a day or two and being disappointed and thinking it was a waste of money.... 😔

I should see if I can dig up the disk and give it another go to see if that vague memory is right =P

🤢

There is a game... It's like an alternate time line that deals with two of the character's from Chrono Cross... I can't remember for the life of me what it was called. And I'm not sure it even explains what happened between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, all I know is there is another one.

It was a Japan release only, So the name of it is probably in Japanese...

Radical Dreamers: Nusumenai Hōseki. It does wrap up some loose ends from Chrono Trigger.

I wish they redo that game, but now without the 3 months development rush, and more complete 🙂

Double Fines next game Brutul Legened looks promising, same odd wacky humour as Psychonauts... Shame about Jack Black voicing the main character, lets hope he doesn't write any of the dialog 😛

I can't really name that many games I loved that don't already have sequels. thinks

Hmm...burrows into video game pile

Yeah I'd have to say...Zelda.

-gets clobbered to death by angry chickens-

But seriously, after I've beaten a game a few times, it goes to the very bottom corners of earlier mentioned pile and does not emerge until a sequel has been announced. So the number of my sequel-less games are few.
