Does anyone know of a series like Tokyo Crazy Paradise in the fact that the girl can take care of herself and knows how to fight?

Well, Skip Beat [Yoshiki Nakamura's next manga] has a protagonist in a similar vein; to that list I'd add Mugen Spiral, Penguin Revolution, Saver, Blooming [aka Bring It On] and of course, Hime 100%.
