The August issue of Hakusensha's shōjo manga anthology LaLa has announced on Thursday that Bisco Hatori's romantic comedy manga Ouran High School Host Club will enter its final story arc in the next issue in July. The magazine is also launching a "Host Club: The Last Party" fan campaign to celebrate the story's pending conclusion and give away presents.
The campaign includes an illustration contest for fan art, as well as voting for the fans' favorite "Title Page Illustration Selection" and favorite quotes from the manga ("The Best Collection"). The cast of Ouran's anime adaptation will then record the top-ranking quotes for a CD. The CD will be offered to readers via a mail-away offer starting in the October issue of LaLa in August.

Oh well from the plot, it's pretty obvious things are reaching the climax.
With the whole Tamaki/Haruhi thing and the fact that the issues with Tamaki's grandma are bein' resolved
Still, gonna miss it.
Forever lurking...

If there aren´t any breaks, then the manga will be done by the end of the year.
Guess 2010 is going to be the year of somewhat popular monthly manga series ending. Seeing as FMA already ended and now with Ouran ending, what else is going to end? 🙁

Thanks for the info ^_^
It's disappointing, but the series can go at a faster pace 😀

(Even though the quote above is from Hamlet, I first saw it in a Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer on YouTube ^o^)

It's been confirmed that Ouran will end on September!
I'll miss this series very much. :3
I knew it would come to an end soon.
(I find it strange there hasn't been a season 2 for the anime...it's probably just me..)

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"
