The Witcher 2. The combat feels great. Very fluid as soon as you get used to the targeting system. Obviously Skyrim would be something you want to play but be prepared to spend your entire winter break and then some playing it. Space Marine is a good game if you want a game that is "fun" but thats about all it is. Its like a repetitive Gears on crack.

It sounds like you should play World of Warcraft. Not only can it be a genuinely fun game, but it's also perfectly normal for people to rage at each other with capital letters and copious amounts of swear words.

Or just about any MMO, really. You might want to check out Everquest 2. They recently added some free-to-play system, if WoW's monthly fee doesn't appeal to you.

I agree with this, have fun with the server trolls in trade chat if you decide to play it. Star Wars Old Republic is coming out, try that if your computer can run it.

...maybe this is just my opinion alone, but it would seem to me that a person without much real authority giving orders is far more obnoxious than trolling or swearing in CAPITAL LETTERS (the horror). It's more than a little uppity, and tends to do far more harm than good.

That aside, the indie game market has exploded and there are tons of good options. I'd suggest you search around and try a few that seem interesting to you.

I would recommend the Dynasty Warriors series if you're looking for cool characters and fighting.
