Yeah I do sometimes.

Sometimes I have to comment to save the poor series. I see a lot of people bash many series, and there I am thinking, actually no, it's not that bad.

But yeah, sometimes I don't have anything to say about the manga, or like, it's too early to say much (few scanlations etc)

Ditto. There's not much of a rhyme or reason when I do and when I don't. It just has to be a strong opinion, either good or bad. Very occasionally, if I see that a series has a lot of comments that go in the other direction from my own opinion, I will post so that the other viewpoint (mine) is seen.

Yes, and often. I mostly like to comment on the series/one-shots no one else has left a comment on, to give people an idea of what to expect.

I don't even comment on the series I adore, much less the ones I abhor. (No rhyme intended.)

But when I do comment, I use effort. Which in return, is a real turn-off. 🤣

It's completely arbitrary. Sometimes I just feel like making a comment and more or less just pick something at random off a list.

i only comment in three situations:
1: when i love the series. i think everybody said this.
2: if i hate the series and must warn others. everybody said this too.
3: if there is something troubling me. this is complicated because if i wanna know the answer, i can use the forums, but if its on some obscure series, nobody will leave a reply.
oh well. reason 4: if i feel like it. happens every now and then. just a random urge

That depends on what kind of series I am reading. If it has a great plot, good characters and a stable pace, I'll give it a good rating.

Otherwise, it's two thumbs down.

I read comments and look at the ratings. They are really helpful, but I don't completely trust them. In some cases it's better to make shure on your own.
I comment if the ratings are too good or too bad on my opinion and if I got something to say.

Yes, yes, yes! Every single time! I go as far as not marking the manga as "complete" before I've commented on it, even if it's those 16-page-long ones!
Also, I tend to make very long comments - and I apologize for that, for the record i.i But I just like to analyze it part by part: characters, story, art, twists, end...everything.

I tend to disagree with everybody else - it's been some years since I only read yaoi/shonen-ai and, I don't know if it's because I read too much, but I can rarely find one I really like.

Oh, and I also read everybody else's commentary, even if it's got like 10 pages of them.
