Years ago I read a manga about a teenage boy who was a knight, a big difference was he was black.

He dealt with a lot of discrimination, being called a demon, but fought past it.

Another core of the manga is it is centered around witches. The knights hunted, worked with, tortured and convinced people into thinking they were witches.

The teenage boy had a mother, both of them were brought from Africa to another land, because his father was one of those knights.

His father ended up killing his mother but if I remember spared him.

The manga is quite graphic.
