I don't don't celebrate my birthdays >_> and I rarely go to birthday parties anyways.

This year I went to my friends' (3 of them had it on the same day) 18th birthday party. It was my first in years. It was pretty fun though.
We did karaoke till midnight. My first time doing it and I was so crap 🤣 Didn't get a scored higher than 79 >.< I even went up in front of the TV and sang "I Want It That Way" without looking at the screen and danced for the birthday girl XD I got a few lines wrong but who cares! I did it for the lulz 😀
Apparently her brother video taped it all O_O. At the end of my "performance" one of her uncles shouted "youtube that shit!" XD....I'm still waiting for the link though 😛

I don't really celebrate my b-day. I'll have cake with my family, and sometimes my friends and I will go out seeing as how 3 of our b-days are close to each other. Nothing too special though. Except for my 18th birthday they took me to a special... club... yeah... so many $1 bills...

my birthday is fits perfectly with finals. so i dont have a b-day because all i do is study. the closest thing is that everyone in my japanese class after every japanese final gets together and goes to a nearby japanese resturant. that is as close as i get. havent had a b-day cake in years. none of my friends celebrate theirs expet for jokes. like last year i bought a friend an icecream cake in the middle of july and on the top was written "only because it was hot outside"
btw none of us have airconditioners so we die in the summer.....

for me it was just eating out with my mom since last year.
whats the big deal with birthdays? so im a year older single freeloader. the only change is that i am even more pathetic than i was before, yay.

...Good lord, you've tak’in the words right out of my mouth. At least I don't feel like total crap anymore was beginning to think it was just me.

I've started to feel even more worn out with each birthday now, I just want to sleep in a dark room and wait for the whole day to pass by.

Some good, some bad...

My last birthday though, that was the greatest! (The usual bad thing is that on my birthday in July, I have summer school...)

I generally either get sick or just feel sick in my head(told this is not a good sign), my grandfather stopped by last year and made me go get coffee with him and had some cake that cost 15 dollars American per piece. 🤢

If I know the person then Yes, if I don't know them then No. [n_n]

shouldn't this be about YOUR birthday?

I did answer if you notice when I said this:{n_n}

"If I know the person then Yes".

I know myself so the answer was Yes. (n_n)

okay, when you take it like that ^^

bleakness!!! i think birthday's are fun just like St. patty's. Just an excuse to go out and have a good time.

What's St. Patty's? I know only of St. Paddy's...

Well, depends. I don't know what the whole fuss is about, you don't age only on your birthday, you age everyday.. >.< But yeah, I guess I enjoy my birthday. I enjoy my friend's/family's birthday more, though.

St. Patty's -> St. Patricks Day/St. Paddy's (or at least I think that's what they meant)

Though the only thing I hate bout birthdays, is remembering I'm a year older... 🤣 When people ask me how old I am, I always end up having to correct myself because I'll say my age of the previous year.

i'm the one paying...

Same here! On my birthday (and a lot of other's as well), I always ended up paying for everyone/everything.. 🤣 Not that I care though, cause I just want to have a good (memorable) time with everyone..

Errr...sometimes. I'm a loner sometimes and prefer to have my "me" time xD
Though I don't mind hanging out with my friends (as long as they pay ;D)

For others, hell yes. For me, no. Drop off the presents at the door and I'll see you tomorrow.

On my birthday there is usually just two or three other people with me, and I like it that way. (And I don't think that counts as a party. 😐 )

I enjoy going to other people's birthday parties, like out to dinner or to do something else, but for my birthday I always just like a small gathering of my closer friends. No parties, just hanging out with people you are good friends with rather than partying with people you hardly even know.

See, what i got from the poll is that do you enjoy birthday parties in general. And I answered yes, because I do. I like it when my friends invite me to celebrate their birthday, we always have fun times 😀

When it comes to me however, I don't, because I don't have birthday parties XD For me, it's way too troublesome because I have different groups of friends and mixing them together is awkward. Plus you (even at 17) still have people saying "why didn't you invite me for"? I can't be dealing with those sorts of people man. Nahhh.

Generally though, parties = win.

Especially back in the day when parties were an essential part of the year. Ah man good times good times.

I'm not a big fan of birthday parties, especially my own. I haven't had one since I was 17 when my best friend threw me a surprise party, which was nice, but I could have done without it. Didn't have many as a kid because I was usually in the hospital on my birthday. I prefer friends' parties to family's, my friends know how to have a really good time.
