Hi.
Few hours ago I posted some info regarding availability of some chapters. I found them on sites like MangaFox. In assumption that if scanlation(group name was provided) is there then it is available in author site. Thats why I posted about it hoping that somebody competent will check it and correct it. Answer for that wasn't nice but before I could post any explanation my post was deleted...

So...

I would like to apology for doing something which shouldn't be done(although I couldn't even read what I have done wrong) and ask someone experienced how and when I can submit info about new series. I have read Adding Content and Information, but there was only information how to submit. I want to know how to know if I can submit.

You can only submit a release if it is done by a group that is listed on MU. In order to get a group listed on MU, it must have some information besides the name of the group. This must be in the form of a site, IRC channel, or forum. Linking to a manga reader site, a user profile on a 3rd party site, or a specific forum thread in a general forum does not count.

Is it ok to post information about releases not done by me ? If it is available on group(listed on MU) xdcc bot or site, then it should be ok to post it here ?

And what about old releases which groups are not longer around but their releases are available via sites like mangafox. Again group is here and name of a group is hard-coded in images or provided by some other means ?

I don't want to submit new groups, but only releases done by groups listed here.

You can post releases for any group that's in the database, even if you don't belong to that group. If they are old releases, find the date of the old release and give that to us in the Comments section when you add the release
