The December issue of Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine is announcing on Thursday that a television anime adaptation of Kazune Kawahara and Aruko's My Love Story!! (Ore Monogatari!!) manga has been green-lit. Viz Media is publishing the shōjo romantic comedy manga in North America, and it describes the story:

Takeo Gōda is a giant guy with a giant heart. Too bad the girls don't want him! (They want his good-looking best friend, Sunakawa.) Used to being on the sidelines, Takeo simply stands tall and accepts his fate. But one day when he saves a girl named Yamato from a harasser on the train, his (love!) life suddenly takes an incredible turn!

Funny, I was thinking about various shoujos that could get an anime the other day and this one came to mind. But then I was like "Nahh, they only want to showcase the manic depressive pretty boys."

Glad to see I was wrong! The hype is real.

The hype is SO on. The manga(9/10) is amazing and the slapstick will work great in motion.
