I remember this was the first short story from an volume. Anyway, it was about a dog and cat that could transform into handsome men when their owners weren't around or something.
I've been looking for this for a long time, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I really doubt it though since I don't remember any dogs...O-O
And they can't transform out of freewill..

It might be the doujinshi for Bukiyou na Silent by Takanaga Hinako. The doujinshi contains the same characters as the main story and is attached to the series on most online reading sites, except the characters are animals (uke=kitty, seme=dog).
