who do you think is the most hateable in manga or anime and why?

I read a bit of Junk - Record of the Last Hero and couldn't finish it because of how much i didn't like the main character mostly because he is very depressing and his reasoning is very hateful.

Has anyone else droped a manga or anime because of how much they hated the main character(s) or supporting character(s) and why?
