saw the whole royal wedding yesterday with crown princess victoria and daniel westling.
i didn't think it would be good at all but WOW i just sat and watched the whole thing.

think it was pretty cool that she wed her former fitness trainer. 😀

I'm still pro-monarchy for the sake of branding =P our royal family is a marketing tool like no other, they bring in money through business contracts that we would never get without them, a president can't compare since they have no cultural or historic value.

It's basically the same as why people buy rediculously pricey jeans that may be worse quality than the pair laying next to them which which still cost 70% less. . . because those other jeans have a good brand, same with the Swedish royal family, it's a Swedish brand^^

you can be a republican for all I care but don't base it on economy, instead base it on principles of equality and so on. In my case I'm purely pragmatic, we have an advantage with them and therefore we keep them =p
