Well, i think this is somewhat slow romance.
But there have been 2 kisses in there already...
If there would be too many kisses then it wouldnt be shoujo anymore. <_<
The romance progression between the characters is doing well..
I like how it is made.. 😃

I like the progression. I mean, it can get frustrating because we are 90 chapters in and still waiting for that moment, but it is 100 times better than 90% of other series where the leads meet and are already dating by the end of the first two chapter

Its the right type of romance that need to appear more in Shoujo mangas. Slow and steady but you can really see their feelings develop ^o^

True. I really like the slow and steadiness of the romance. It is not so slow to the point that it makes you mad and it develops. I like how
Nanami will only like Tomoe even if he said that he does not return her feelings.

It was slow at first, BUT NOW ITS BLEEPING AMAZING!!!!!
Seriously though, almost nothing for the first part but now its the focal point of the manga. Love this one soooo much!
As they played the game...I waited for someone to call "onigiri." But no one called. I was very little then. I had almost forgotten about that. [...] But they knew...there would never be room for an onigiri...in a fruits basket.
