I was playing Metal Gear Solid 4 with my friends (rotating who played) and whenever it came to my turn I'd always have to change the control settings. I am the only one of my friends who inverts the controls; none of my friends invert the x and/or y axes so I made this poll.

Also, I apologize in advanced if this is a repeat topic, but I searched the forums but didn't find a similar thread.

No, I hate inverted controls so much!
It's 100% more effective when the cursor/aim/whatever
goes exactly where you want it to.
Well, it at least works better for me.

I Invert the Y axis, because of all the airplane games I play. It's easier to play like that for the consistency in playing styles.

I use normal in most games, invert in a couple of third person games that have the default set to inverted.

Back in the good old days of timesplitters, I used really strange controls. Instead of having movement on one stick and look on the other, I had forward/back and turn left/right on one stick and strafe with look up/down on the other. Everyone would spend ages setting it back to normal when they took the controller xD.

Normal.
Otherwise, I'll just get confused.

I leave it normal and I never had problems with airplane games

Yeah, pretty much what he said...I can't, for the life of me play a game that's about flight without inverted controls...normal controls for FPS though

Inverted Y axis is what goldeneye was on. I got used to that and used inverted controls from then on.

Whatever goes up when I press/tilt up, so no inverted controls for me.
