hi there! i hope this post finds everyone well.

my friend has had no luck recalling the name of a slice of life sort of manga, but gave me some info in hopes someone here might be able to help. the relationship is between a black haired guy, and a brown-haired guy. the black-haired mc is friends with a bartender [?] who lets him stay in one of his apartments while he's away, but the catch is that there's already a man living there. he's a carpenter or architect or something, i think. he's messy and always eating the food that the black-haired mc makes for himself, and leaves notes like 'it was delicious'. putting the next part under spoiler just in case!!

the black-haired mc had caused some trouble for this man's younger brother in the past [i think it was a prequel manga?] but they didn't know that connection for a while, until the younger brother shows up later on. the black-haired mc falls for the brown-haired one over time, and after he learns of his relation to the younger brother that he hurt in the past, he tries to break things off entirely and leave. during a scene with fireworks, they reunite in the apartment, but it doesn't go as planned due to the bartender and younger brother showing up too soon. they also said the black-haired mc was seen in front of the bar with a red umbrella, and that's some sort of key connecting point in the manga too for the ship. they don't remember any of the names though. : (

i believe the manga also has a sequel? or i might just be confused because they mentioned it had some related manga beyond the prequel itself.
