Anime Fillers

Why do they still have fillers even though the manga is almost 100 chapters ahead of the anime, its nonsensical. Wouldnt you want to catch up a bit or is this a safety net for the future when they need to have a larger gap?

Its not nonsensical, its called marketing (bad one in this case, cause the product is very low quality, anyway). They just want to prolong as much as possible the anime for obvious income reasons :3

I've had enuff of pityful stories of sadsadsad children, wont they at least try to change fillers' contents? >:-(

I stopped watching the anime regularly after the Sakura/Chiyo vs. Sasori fight because it was prolonged like a DBZ fight. The original fight in the manga took 12 chapters, and the anime fight took 8-9 episodes. And if I'm not mistaken, the anime is already in its' 2nd filler arc.
But just be glad that Naruto's fillers aren't as bad as Bleach's. Those are horribly drawn AND horribly written.

Fillers are annoying! I was looking forward to the Sasuke vs Itachi fight...and then...BAM!...a new filler arc starts.
Haha..I think I have to wait ages until the Sasuke vs Itachi fight. They will start a new filler arc after each great battle.

I gave up on the anime after catching up to Shippuden to find myself stuck in fillers again 😐 I'll only watch the main fights in the anime but they won't come out until ages. Manga is much faster 😀

Shippuden is nothing but fillers, even the episodes that are based on the manga gets filled with filler or unnecessary staring at eachother..
I just save up a dozen episodes before I watch them, but even that wasn't enough with this recent filler arc. 🤢
I haven't even watched Bleach for 6 months, it's just rubbish.
The usual reason for watching action animes is because the action is much more intense, but Naruto... Geez.. The manga is far more intense -.-
This life sucked. Where's the reset button?

I like fillers(looks around for angry mob). They put characters into different stories which sometimes is cool to see. like the way the focus on hinata. Manga doesn't show her that much but thanks to the fillers we get to see more of her.
Though I do agree that it also gets annoying. I am so looking forward to seeing sasuke vs itachi animated. Also I wanna see naruto vs pein animated too, but with the way things are going its going to be at least another year or so before they catch up to that part of the story.

You know what's ironic about that? The anime fillers give all of those secondary characters more character development than Kishimoto does himself. That seems to be the only reason to watch the fillers at all.

Doesn't Yuukimaru kinda looks like the sanbii's jiinchurikki in the color page of Naruto in 240? their hair and eye color are the same...
