Other peoples minds.
I've seen things that are really bizarre and wonder why in the world they did that. Like how shounen jump killed off double arts (click the link in my sig to help revive.), why NBC kills off legends, and why is my mom pissed at the small things. I wanna know if a company or organization or even a person has made you go crazy trying to think why they did that.
Well, I can barely understand myself sometimes, so I don't try doing that with others that often. Chances you get to figure it out are low, so it's just time consuming in my opinion Ô__O.

The answer is simple. If a manga doesn't make money, it will get killed off.
come on guys tell me something that annoys you, and still double arts was a unique manga they should have given it more time.

The ones that wrack my brains are organizations like the Nazis. And there are plenty of books which analyze the mentalities and people behind it. Still, how could you knowingly cause so much death, inflict horrific inhumanity, and sleep well at night?
As for individuals, I find that everyone has a reason, even if I do not agree with it. Your mom, for instance, is probably pissed with small things that only seem small from your perspective.

Maybe Double Arts should have been moved to another magazine, like Rozen Maiden? By the way, the new Rozen Maiden is better than the old one.
things that people do that drive me crazy: manga-kas who make their manga ongoing for so long, just because their manga was popular.even though it's cliche.
why they did it: to make more money [some manga-kas these days just don't make manga to please people, but for the money.]
why it drives me crazy: end the gawddamn series.the stupid story is killing me.and you're fooling people to buy your cliched series. -.-
and as of why do people do things that you think are unreasonable and rash..i agree with terpsichore, people have reasons.even if you think that it's unreasonable and stupid, in other people's minds,it's not.in short, we all think differently.

I second this. But the only good thing out of it is that we don't have to pay. Free is the best price. 😎

when i watch NBA or NHL or some other sports and i see either a player(s) and/or coach or even the ref. doin stupid irrational things and its obvious its wrong or something, thts pisses me off and i wonder why in the world they are doin tht or did tht.
ex. a nba player who is not good a shooting a 3 pointer and he just comes up-court and just shoots it even tho theres a post player posting up in the paint. tht jus freakin pisses me off, even worse if the player is one of the teams im cheerin for

all i can think of right now is corruption committed by politicians...i mean why do they have to do that?? i mean they are already rich...and the people needs it!!! these politicians are living in luxury while other people are living in extreme poverty...
its just so saddening...

I like my overtly long series, cliched or not, so long as they still entertain me (and usually do). I suppose this is a good example of how people think differently.

I have to agree. An organization/society always thinks about efficiency, profit, and all that economical stuff that is beneficial for the group. However, we are puzzled by these things because we are individuals, even though the organization/society that we puzzle over are made of individuals who think like us.
well you guys made a good argument for why double arts died but it is still puzzling how they thought it wasn't popular and now where getting somewhere with this thread, also for long mangas they have to have quick release dates or it better hurry up and die off unless its super good.

It's because it lies within the human nature to never be satisfied. If one need is met another arises. Demand is infinite. At least that's how economics explain it and I can't disagree.
If illegal activity offers the means to fullfilling a need and the risk is low, the temptation is especially great. Or wouldn't a manga addict reach for easily accessible scanlations when his budget isn't sufficient to satisfy his manga needs legally?
Alright, unlike political corruption, reading scanlations may not exactly require a missing conscience but the comparison at least shows where the temptation would come from, kind of, I think.

This totally sums things up. A society usually acts upon what they believe is better for the majority. A company acts for profit. Not all of these decisions please every individual affected as each has a unique opinion and different needs or desires.
