I realize that the standards across Web browsers are different but for the last week or so my logon has not been working I keep typing it in and it keeps dumping me at the registration page, I'm using FF at the moment...... could it have something to do with the new opera update

Not sure about Opera since I use Firefox.

Could be an error with an unrecognizable cookie, though.

Meaning, when you login, the cookie isn't recognized, and you're viewing a part of the site you shouldn't be unless logged in, in which case the site automatically forwards you to the registration page.

Check your cookie settings, and check which cookies you have active. If all else fails, delete the cookie for mangaupdates (don't delete ALL of them, just the one for this website), and then come back and relogin. That'll out a fresh cookie on your PC, which should solve the error.

Are you trying to use your Wii or something to get on MU?

He mentioned he was currently using Firefox, so its a valid assumption he is on a PC.

Either way, Opera is not just a Wii browser.

Shouldn't be a problem either way. The website shows up with most browsers (I've had this website load on my PSP, even), so I am fairly certain its a cookie issue.

Cookie issues are known to cause problems similar to this (I've had it happen, too).

I use Opera since 2003 and never had that problem...
Clean your cache once in a while..I know it sounds odd but it does tend to glitch once in awhile...I'm using Opera 9.02 and it's working perfectly 🙂

I've been using opera for a long time too and this only started with this site after the 9.26 patch came out, either way I cleared the cookies and its working (so far) it still forgets when I logged in and I have to refresh the page but overall its working thanks Kaioh. 😀
