Please do not discuss the implications of why it ended, will there be a sequel etc. I made this topic so that the actual story may be discussed, and the implications the ending may have on a possible sequel. With that said, here are some starter topics

First, what happened to Gangryong? Did he die? Did Vera take some form of pity on him? Did he escape somehow? Did Vera have some form of feelings for him because of his master? How did the battle turn out? I'm assuming that he didn't win because of what Yuri said in the end, and the possibility of the sequel.

Second, Why was Yuri made out to be a hero at the end and a villain in the beginning? Personally I feel that it is based on perspective. If you take a look at each person and their focus she was both. To Lightning Tiger she was a villain due to her overstepping the boundaries of humanity. To the students however she was a hero, someone who helped them learn and master their arts.

Third, Vera. To most people she would have been a villain. However think about this. Possibly there was a reason she gave the traditional students such an ultimatum. Could that ultimatum have been an attempt to protect the students who would not take part in reunions methods? Could the destruction of the school, rather than being a cruel killing, be an attempt to protect martial arts from outside influence?

It's both. She murdered a bunch of kids, including her friends, to "protect her martial arts."

If a sequel is ever released, my only interest would be to see her dead. That's just me, though.

First, i dont think that died but cant say he won either he learnt something about Vera from Honse he had all the basics to win from his master to begin with. i also think that what she said at the end was because alot of new talent is enhancing there school farther than before and she wanted to be in control of all them from the start.

third, i think Vera is just trying to destroy every and anything that Yuri built because she was always in her shadow. she just wants to earse her sister so that she doesn't feel worthless anymore. and she said it herself many times that she will do what ever it takes to reach her goal.

Gangryong was pissed off at Vera cause she killed Rud so he went and absorbed as much of Lightning Tiger's holding lightning crap on Yuri as possible and went after Vera with Honse's strategy in mind. I doubt he died, but you never know, he was such an interesting protagonist it would be a pity if he wasn't in a hypothetical sequel (which may or may not occur, most likely wont cus Veritas was axed). Vera, if anything hated his fucking guts. First of all she loved Lightning Tiger and Gangryong's existence just reminded and enforced to her the fact that he died, and then he released Yuri, who she hated more than anyone and was planning to kill if she got free. I doubt Vera would die because yuri could just stomp over everyone if she didn't, unless they started bringing in the international martial arts organizations which were alluded to, and that could be pretty interesting.

If you think Yuri was made out to be a hero, you're missing the point of the manhwa. There are no heroes, everyone just will selfishly enforce their beliefs irrespective of the wills or lives of anyone else. Yuri, above all, was still aiming to control natural phenomena, and she was just thinking in terms of how to increase her assets and assure her success. Fire Dragon is intensely loyal to her, for whatever reason, to the point of sacrificing his own life. If she supported each of the alienated school students in their quests to gain power and get vengeance, then they would support her, and perhaps even take care of Vera for her.

I don't understand what you're saying. Vera was supposed to kill every single student in the entire school with the exception of Gangryone, the so-called "traditional students" were considered reunion students for the her purposes because they had accepted aid from the school. There was no protecting going on. The only reason she let Jeeha, Honse, etc. survive was because she gave Rud her word, who killed himself. Maybe she did think Rud would end up being as dangerous as Yuri, but either way, she would get Yuri to die, and one way her death was supposed to have been assured. Of course, that backfired...

The destruction of the school WAS a cruel killing. However, the ideas was that it was for the resurrection of the "one man inheritance" custom.
