Where's the both option? I have both for different reasons. Moon's my main game, with Sun being the one I can reset to get all the starters or do weird things with like Nuzlockes and Wedlockes.

Which is only a rumor that we have no substantial evidence toward being true. You can't really use the wire frame pikipek so many are because most game companies develop at higher resolutions than their game is actually at. It's entirely possible that Game Freak does that, too.

Lost all interest in Pokemon since playing the gold/silver remakes.

I don't have a 3DS, although I've a DS with a Chinese ROM cartridge. Have pretty much ditched playing Pokemans after Silver that I got for my 11th birthday. Getting Yellow for christmas and a Game Boy Color is one of my strongest memories of euphoria, but nowadays I don't really care about the series at all, mainly because it's just an RPG game with no real story and the combat is archaic.

B/W and X/Y had stories, with X/Y being the most fleshed out I've seen in a Pokemon game.

Whether its considered good or not depends on the user. Its standard shonen fare aimed at children between 7 to 12 (imo). I thought it was pretty good, considering the past games never had a real story to begin with XD.

I want to go with Sun, as the exclusive Pokemon look better, but i will get Moon if i can get it for less. I will also wait a month, as i still need to play though 2 other handled games.
I finished every core handheld Pokemon Rpg and skipped the remakes. The X / Y generation had the first noticeable gameplay and presentation jump since the 1st and the dialogue need to be made skippable. These games talk more and more while saying less. This 7th generation of Pokemon lastly looks to be the best since the 3rd, as the last few were filled with rubbish.

I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

The last time I played Pokemon I was around 11 and I was playing Fire Red (my beloved Charizard). I haven't played much since then. Actually I haven't touched my Nintendo in years...

I don't have a 3DS so I can't play it.
If I get a 3DS in the future I probably won't play either.

The Pokémon designs don't look interesting at all, and I don't get the " Old Pokémon, New Types " thing.

But, out of both the games Moon looks more interesting.
